Cooking For Life loves food . . . . but we love life more. Since 2002, Cooking for Life has given 280 of the most underprivileged people living in Uberlandia, Brazil, an opportunity to live a life free from poverty. We want to give this gift to even more.

At Cooking for Life, we believe that the best way to do this is to give people the skills and support they need to help themselves. In a culture that loves food and eating out, one of the quickest ways to get people on their feet is to give them the ability to work in a restaurant.

Our free training courses are run from our own ‘not-for-profit’ restaurant and have become highly regarded by local industry. After an intensive 3 months training, our students are ready to work and the vast majority do.
